WHO WE ARE

We are a foundation of Venetian women who, aware that we have obtained a lot from the area that saw us grow up, decided to make a personal commitment to give back, at least in part, what we received from the community.

WHY “CLARICE”?

“Of Clarice, crumbling stone by stone and unraveling and dissolving, the power never disappears: it reassembles itself each time it collapses, shuffling the scattered pieces of itself as in a bag of dice.”

The name of our foundation was inspired by Italo Calvino’s The Invisible Cities, a work that explores the complexity of human life through symbols and metaphors.

Clarice, in Calvino’s vision, is a city that thrives on its transformations, a place that welcomes the weight of the past and transforms it into hope and renewal. For us, this name represents a message of resilience, care and concern for that which is fragile but deeply precious.

The Clarice Foundation was established with the goal of being a concrete presence, able to accompany and support those most in need. The name is a tribute to an ideal of caring that values the roots of our humanity and strives for a more just and inclusive future.

“Every change implies a sequence of destruction and reconstruction; but Clarice’s fragments, though scattered and disconnected, bear the imprint of the same form, which persists and endures, like invisible armor.”

OUR
VISION

Building a beacon of solidarity and support for vulnerable families in the Veneto region, working together to ensure their dignity, support and necessary resources.

We strive to create an environment where families feel safe, supported and valued, facing daily challenges together.

Our vision is to build a Veneto where no one feels alone or abandoned, but knows with certainty that they are part of a network of solidarity and support.

OUR
MISSION

We believe that the family should be supported and accompanied in everyday life.

However, welfare policies often fail to recognize or have available the resources needed to address the difficulties that families experience.

We are committed to protect their dignity, listening to their needs e meeting their their big and small needs.
